She can walk!
Madeleine took her first unassisted steps today! She walked 3 steps all on her own in an attempt to get closer to her daddy. We both witnessed it and practically scared her with our excited reaction. Over the last two weeks or so she's become far more comfortable just holding onto one of our fingers and walking so I suppose this shouldn't be a surprise. I look forward to the freedom (and chaos) this new discovery will bring to our family.

after hearing your squeals of joy in the background yesterday, i figured something special must have happened! i just read all of you posts and can't believe how big madeleine has gotten. she's absolutely adorable. i'm really happy that ya'll have another one on the way. i pray things continue to go well.

Congratulations Madeleine! Now, you guys are in for it! Ha ha! But really, it will give you some freedom in a good way, especially with a new one coming that will require toting along! :-)
Yahoo!! What a big girl. Now, i think it is safe to start fitting her for a climbing harness. They make great full body ones for kids. This way she can be as vertically mobile as she is horizontally.
